Infrastructure includes land, permanent way constructions, buildings, bridges and tunnels, as well as immovable fixtures, fitting and installations connected with them (signalisation, telecommunications, catenaries, electricity sub-stations, toll collection installations, navigation locks, mooring equipment, etc.) as opposed to rolling stock or road vehicles or inland waterways vessels. [COVERAGE] Rail infrastructure expenses include investment in the main rail network, the urban rail network in the Ile-de-France region, including subways and tramways, RATP and urban public transport in all regions. Rail infrastructure expenses include the Grand Paris project. Rail infrastructure expenses do not include investment in the French part of the Eurotunnel. TOTAL INLAND INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT Road infrastructure expenses include investment in the entire French road network, including in urban roads. Inland waterways infrastructure expenses include investment in hinterland ports. Between 2015 and 2017, inland waterways infrastructure expenses include investment in the Canal Seine-Nord Europe.
