Infrastructure includes land, permanent way constructions, buildings, bridges and tunnels, as well as immovable fixtures, fitting and installations connected with them (signalisation, telecommunications, catenaries, electricity sub-stations, toll collection installations, navigation locks, mooring equipment, etc.) as opposed to rolling stock or road vehicles or inland waterways vessels. [COVERAGE] Rail infrastructure expenses include investment in intermodal infrastructure administrated by Railways of the Slovak Republic (ZSR). Since 2009, rail infrastructure expenses do not include investment in intermodal infrastructure administered by the private sector. TOTAL INLAND INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT Road infrastructure expenses include investment in state and regional road segments and roads cutting through urban territories. Road infrastructure expenses do not include investment in local roads in urban territories. Until 2002, inland waterways infrastructure expenses include investment only in Danube ports. Since 2003, inland waterways infrastructure expenses include investment in inland ports on Danube and Wah water routes.
