Brazil’s industrial confidence grows in November

The industrial entrepreneurs’ confidence indicator in Brazil reached 62.9 in November, the seventh improvement in a row, up 0.4pp compared to November 2019. The index has a benchmark value of 50, so each value above it indicates that companies are more confident about the current and future conditions of the economy.

According the National Confederation of the Industry, which conducts the survey, the companies stay optimistic about the sector’s performance over the next months. The expectations index increased slightly to 64.8 in November, from 64.5 in October. The current conditions index rose to 59.2 in November, 2.9 higher compared to October.
