Brazil’s busiest airport records 1.9mn of passengers in November

The number of passengers travelling domestically reached 1.7mn in November

The Sao Paulo Guarulhos international airport – the busiest airport in Brazil – registered a flow of 1.9mn passengers in November. This is the highest figure since March when many countries adopted restrictions on travelling to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
The number of passengers travelling domestically reached 1.7mn in November, almost the same number as in March, but 44.6% lower than in November 2019. The international passenger traffic totalled 202,569 people in November 2020, an 82% y/y decline.
