Peru: Liquid Assets Ratio

Peru's Liquid Assets Ratio stood at 18.4 % in May 2019, compared with the previous figure of 17.7 % in Apr 2019.

Peru's Liquid Assets Ratio data is updated monthly, available from Jan 2013 to May 2019. The data reached an all-time high of 26.4 % in Mar 2013 and a record low of 15.2 % in Sep 2018.

CEIC calculates Liquid Assets Ratio from monthly Commercial Banks Liquid Assets and Total Assets. The Superintendency of Banks, Insurance and Pension Funds provides Liquid Assets and Total Assets in local currency. Liquid Assets include domestic and foreign currency current assets, such as cash, correspondent accounts with banks, clearing and others.
