Japan: Gross Savings Rate

Japan's Gross Savings Rate was measured at 26.2 % in March 2017, compared with 27.1 % in the previous quarter. Japan Gross Savings Rate is updated quarterly, available from March 1980 to March 2017, with an average rate of 29.6 %. The data reached an all-time high of 40.2 % in March 1992 and a record low of 22.4 % in March 2014.
