Business activity in the manufacturing sector in Germany, measured by the Purchasing managers' index (PMI), keeps expanding in July 2021.
The indicator increased to 65.6 from 65.1 in June, according to IHS Markit's seasonally adjusted data. The services PMI, on the other hand, registered a bigger increase to 62.2 in July from 57.5 in June, as the recovery of the sector gains speed, enjoying more relaxed social distancing measures.
