Industrial Production in Germany, Euro Area's largest economy, declined on a monthly basis for a second consecutive month in May 2021. The decrease by 0.3% m/m matched the figure from April, seasonally adjusted data shows.
On an annual basis, the industrial production index (IPI) posted a substantial increase (17.3%), which however could be explained mainly by the low base effect.
