Brazil’s industrial entrepreneurs’ confidence indicator recorded a slight improvement to 61.8 in October, from 61.6 in September, and compared to 59.3 in October 2019. The index has a breakeven value of 50, and each figure above it indicates confidence.

According the National Confederation of the Industry, which conducts the survey, the companies stay optimistic about the sector’s performance during the next months, but the expectations index decreased slightly to 64.5 in October, from 65.1 in September. The current conditions index rose to 56.3 in October, compared to 54.7 in September.
