The US non-farm sector added 245,000 jobs in November 2020

The US employers in the non-agricultural sector added 245,000 jobs in November 2020. This is the fifth monthly decline in a row and failing to meet expectations. Nonetheless, it is around the pre-pandemic levels and above the average for 2019.
After suffering substantial shock in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the US labour market showed signs of rebound in May and June. From July 2020 onwards, however, the number of the new jobs has been slowing down.
