Key Challenge:
Reporting directly to the Global Product Manager, the key role will be to provide consultancy service to our clients on how to best utilize our products and services to match their analytical need in particular on Excel modeling. You will work closely with the business development and client service team as well as research database team for the service delivery.
Major responsibilities:

Provide both pre-sale and post-sale support on template building and Excel modeling.

Drive, execute and manage migration projects to successfully convert existing models from Datastream, Ecowin and Bloomberg into CEIC platform.

Formulate migration approach to streamline migration process.

Build up model library to provide standard templates under CEIC platform.

Organize client training to up-skill users.

Understand client workflow and channel back requirement to product development team.

Participate in the process of implementation and delivery of enhanced/new products through effective cooperation with relevant parties.

Maximize client satisfaction with proactive engagement with clients.
Attributes:
-
Degree or above in computer science / information system / finance or equivalent;
-
Working knowledge of financial model construction process predominately for economists, strategists, policy makers, research analysts and corporate planners.

Min 3 years experience preferably in investment or finance field with a research focus.

Hands-on experience on economic analysis and can effectively translate into modeling.
-
Ability to gain client trust and proven track record of building strong client relationships.
-
Capable of making key decisions through careful analysis, listening and problem solving skills.

Exceptional commitment combined with proven ability in coping with multiple priorities and tight deadline.

Proficiency in Excel or other analytical tools like EViews and Matlab.
